Welcome to Our Forest Oasis at Dark Heart of the Grove— a quiet corner of Virginia where the land sets the pace. Here, the gardens, orchard, and forest paths offer a peaceful place to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with nature.
About Our Land
Our property is a small, working piece of rural Virginia where we grow fruit trees, berry bushes, herbs, flowers, and seasonal vegetables. Everything here is tended by hand — planting, pruning, soil care, and the quiet daily work of keeping a garden healthy and thriving. The harvest from our gardens and orchard is shared with family, friends, and neighbors, the way country gardens have always been — simple, seasonal, and rooted in the land.
New Ways to Learn & Explore
We’re currently developing online video workshops, homeschool mini‑classes, and quiet video tours that offer a glimpse into the gardens, orchard, and forest paths of Our Forest Oasis. Our online shop is also on the way, featuring handmade, nature‑inspired pieces and craft supplies from the land.

Update.
Due to updated zoning laws in Spotsylvania County, our little Forest Oasis is now reserved solely for our own family gatherings. Weddings and similar events no longer fall under agritourism here, so we’re shifting our focus in a new direction.
